Today, Paul brings this lifetime of experience to his work as a later life mentor, helping people rediscover purpose, direction and possibility in the years ahead.
He is the founder of Never Too Late Mentoring, the best-selling author of Dependence vs Opportunity: A Cycle That Can Be Broken (available on Amazon Books https://www.amazon.com.au/Dependance-Vs-Opportunity-Cycle-That/dp/0646951270), and the author of his latest book, It's Never Too Late to Live Your Best Life.
Previously, Paul has spent much of his life assisting and mentoring people from many different backgrounds.


Over the years he has worked with individuals ranging from drug-affected street kids to mindset coaching with elite AFL footballers, advised politicians on youth affairs, and supported many everyday people through difficult periods of life, including episodes of mental health challenges.
Paul was the founder and driving force behind the life-changing youth program Breaking the Cycle. Through this initiative, more than 1,200 at-risk and vulnerable young people from across Australia were supported to transform their lives.
Many of these young people had been living on the streets, struggling with drug addiction, or involved in the sex industry. Through the program they were able to rebuild their lives and become contributing members of the workforce, achieving a remarkable success rate of over 85%.
In recognition of his work and the impact it had on the community, Paul was awarded the prestigious Melbourne Achievers Award by the Committee for Melbourne for making significant contributions to the city of Melbourne.
Paul is also a proud father of two adult sons, stepfather to a daughter with special needs, and grandfather to the person he considers the smartest and most adorable grandson on the planet.
